Frankly, it’s going to be hard to pass out just three Arrowheads this week, as the Kansas City Chiefs utterly dominated the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1.

From offense to special teams, and especially defense, Kansas City was by far the better team, and many players stood out and had great performances.

The Chiefs won 28-2. Sure, it was just the Jaguars, but Kansas City did a lot of great things, and there’s a lot to look forward to heading into game No. 2 vs. the Cowboys at Arrowhead.

Here are the three Arrowheads from last weekend’s big win:

Arrowhead #3: Dexter McCluster, WR/PR

Dexter McCluster didn’t break off a long punt return for a touchdown, but overall, he did a great job fielding puts, working for extra yards and getting Kansas City some good field position. You could tell he was feeling good, and he made some great plays out there.

McCluster returned seven punts for 80 yards, which equals out to 11.4 yards per return. You really can’t ask for much more out of your punt unit.

On top of that, #22 caught three passes for 43 yards.

Overall, that’s a very productive day.

Arrowhead #2: Dontari Poe, DT

For those who doubt that Dontari Poe has superstar potential, go back and watch this Jacksonville game. Poe was dominant at the line of scrimmage. He was stronger than his opponents, and he did a great job of pushing back the line of scrimmage. You can also clearly see that he’s exceptionally quick and explosive for such a big man.

He notched six tackles, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss and two quarterback hits.

Considering he’s a nose tackle in a 3-4 scheme (albeit an aggressive one) those are star numbers.

Arrowhead #1: Justin Houston, LB

Justin Houston notched ten sacks in 2012 and had a great year. He’s already well on his way in 2013.

Houston totalled three sacks against Jacksonville.
