The Kansas City Chiefs are busy preparing for the 2013 NFL Draft and according to Aaron Wilson, KC will meet with Valdosta State guard Edmund Kugbila.

From Wilson:

"Kugbila is a 6-foot-4, 317-pounder who bench pressed 225 pounds 23 times at the NFL scouting combine where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.21 seconds. He improved that number to 5.13 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout and bench pressed 225 pounds 24 times. Kugbila also had a 4.65 20-yard shuttle and a 7.72 three-cone drill at the combine. Kugbila worked out for New England Patriots offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia at his campus Pro Day workout as well as the Carolina Panthers. He has visits with the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs. Kugbila is a native of Ghana who moved to the United States in 2000."

Kugbila is projected to be selected somewhere in the seventh round of the draft, if he is selected at all.

The Chiefs seem to be looking very hard at offensive lineman. They likely want to get some guys in that the feel fit what head coach Andy Reid wants to do offensively.

The Chiefs have a number of young offensive lineman in guards Jon Asamoah and Jeff Allen. Rodney Hudson was drafted to play center but spent most of last season on IR. KC has also reportedly approached Ryan Lilja about coming out of retirement.

I expect we may see the Chiefs select more than one offensive lineman come the draft.
