We have some sad news to report. On January 5th, former Kansas City Chiefs WR Chandler Williams died while playing a flag football game in Miami. His death is suspected to have been heart related. He was 27.

Williams was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the 7th round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Dolphins and Falcons before landing on KC’s practice squad in December of 2009. He was signed and waived by the team a couple of more times through the 2011 season.

This story happened a couple of weeks ago but it slipped by us. We apologize for getting you the news late.

Our belated thoughts go out to the Williams family.
