Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is assembling his new coaching staff and while most of the attention is on the offensive and defensive coordinator candidates, it appears as though Eagles head trainer Rick Burkholder could be following Reid to KC.

From Philly.com:

"An Eagles spokesman said: “He’s under contract. We’re honoring the contract, but allowing him to seek an opportunity with Andy Reid in Kansas City if that is what’s in Rick’s best interest.”Burkholder, 48, was hired in February 1999, right after Reid arrived. Burkholder, who hails from Carlisle, Pa., came from the Steelers, where he had been the assistant athletic trainer. In 2010, Burkholder and his staff were recognized by their peers as the top training staff in the NFL. Burkholder has been prominent in the media during the injury rehabs of stars such as Terrell Owens, Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick."

Time is crucial here so I would expect more and more staff leaks to come out as the week goes on. If I was Reid, I want my staff pretty much in place by the end of the week or so.
