Chiefs vs. Raiders Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Announcers
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports
It’s game day and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Oakland Raiders.
There is nothing better than a Chiefs/Raiders game. Even when both teams stink, which is most of the time, games between the two rivals are always interesting and usually competitive.
For the Chiefs, the uphill climb of trying to win games has become even steeper thanks to star WR Dwayne Bowe being placed on IR. The Chiefs have no other credible threats in the passing game and given the team’s suspect QB play, KC will have to lean heavily on its running game to move the football.
For the Raiders, it is once again a period of evaluation. The coaches have said they’d like to get a look at second-year QB Terrelle Pryor but that would mean benching the team’s best QB in Carson Palmer. Pryor may not start today but don’t be surprised if the Raiders decide to throw him in for a few plays.
