David Richard-USA TODAY Sports
The Kansas City Chiefs released their second injury report yesterday, ahead of this Sunday’s showdown with the Oakland Raiders.
Here’s the damage:
Name | Position | Injury | Wed. | Thu. | Fri. | Game Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Albert, Branden | T | Back | DNP | DNP | – | – |
Asamoah, Jon | OL | Thumb | FP | FP | – | – |
Berry, Eric | DB | Hand | FP | FP | – | – |
Bowe, Dwayne | WR | Ribs | Out | Out | Out | Out |
Elam, Abram | DB | Quad | DNP | DNP | – | – |
Flowers, Brandon | CB | Hamstring | LP | FP | – | – |
Gray, Cyrus | RB | Shoulder/Neck | LP | FP | – | – |
Hochstein, Russ | G | Back | DNP | DNP | – | – |
Johnson, Derrick | LB | Hamstring | LP | FP | – | – |
Lewis, Kendrick | DB | Shoulder | FP | FP | – | – |
Lilja, Ryan | G | Knee | DNP | DNP | – | – |
Looking much better today. Bowe we already know is out. Flowers and DJ gave their hamstrings a day to heal up and participated fully. Cyrus Gray also got back to full action.
The big question marks at this point are Ryan Lilja and Branden Albert. I reckon they’ll play even if they sit out again today. Unless tey suffered setbacks last week, I think Romeo is just giving them ample rest.
To tell you the truth, I wouldn’t mind seeing Stephenson get another start.
We’ll get the final injury report later today.
