Chiefs vs. Panthers Injury Report: Hali Sits Out Practice
Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE
Yesterday, the Kansas City Chiefs began preparations for this week’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
Name | Position | Injury | Wed. | Thu. | Fri. | Game Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Albert, Branden | T | Back | DNP | – | – | – |
Hali, Tamba | LB | Knee | DNP | – | – | – |
Lewis, Kendrick | DB | Shoulder | DNP | – | – | – |
Lilja, Ryan | G | Knee | DNP | – | – | – |
McCluster, Dexter | WR | Head | DNP | – | – | – |
There are only five players on the injury report, but the bad news is that they are all key players. Along the offensive line, Branden Albert sat out with a back injury and C/G Ryan Lilja took the day off due to his knee.
Dexter McCluster, who suffered a head injury Sunday, was able to participate in the walk-through portion of practice but isn’t expected to be cleared until today.
On defense, FS Kendrick Lewis, who re-injured his shoulder Sunday, did not practice.
Lastly, OLB Tamba Hali also did not practice as he is ailing from a sore knee.
We’ll track these injuries throughout the week. If I had to guess, I’d say Albert is the one player in real danger of not playing Sunday. We’ll have to see how the others progress.
