Chiefs vs. Broncos: Final Injury Report
John Rieger-US PRESSWIRE
The Kansas City Chiefs have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s home game against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos.
Here’s the damage:
Name | Position | Injury | Wed. | Thu. | Fri. | Game Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Albert, Branden | T | Back | DNP | DNP | DNP | doubtful |
Asamoah, Jon | OL | Thumb | LP | LP | LP | questionable |
Baldwin, Jon | WR | Head/Neck | LP | FP | FP | probable |
Bowe, Dwayne | WR | Neck/Back | LP | FP | FP | probable |
Lilja, Ryan | G | Knee | DNP | DNP | LP | questionable |
Maneri, Steve | TE | Ankle | LP | LP | LP | probable |
Moeaki, Tony | TE | Shoulder/Back | LP | LP | FP | probable |
No looking to promising on the offensive line. Brandon Albert is listed as doubtful, which means there is an 80% chance he won’t play. Center/guard Ryan Lilja and G Jon Asamoah are also both questionable. If all three players miss the game it could be a long day for QB Brady Quinn.
The good news is that Dwayne Bowe, Jonathan Baldwin and Tony Moeaki are all looking as if they will play. So at least Quinn will have some guys to heave the ball to as the Denver defenders come at him unblocked.
