Denny Medley-US PRESSWIRE
The Kansas City Chiefs are on a very short week this week as they’ll take on the San Diego Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
The team was at Arrowhead Monday and they’ve released an injury report. Here’s the damage:
Name | Position | Injury | Mon. | Tue. | Wed. | Game Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Dorsey, Glenn | DE | Calf | LP | – | – | – |
Eachus, Nate | RB | Head | DNP | – | – | – |
Maneri, Steve | TE | Ankle | LP | – | – | – |
Quinn, Brady | QB | Head | DNP | – | – | – |
Wylie, Devon | WR | Hamstring | FP | – | – | – |
We have a couple of new names on this week’s report. Nate Echus is apparently dealing with some sort of head injury. He did not practice.
Brady Quinn is also a new name. Quinn suffered a head injury and did not practice on Monday. If he and Echuse both suffered concussions it is hard to imagine they will be able to play Thursday.
Glenn Dorsey is still limited.
My guess is that we’ll see Matt Cassel back under center Thursday. With so little time available for the team to practice it is hard to believe Quinn would be able to catch up, even if he comes back today.
