Injuries derailed the 2011 Kansas City Chiefs season, but this week KC appears to be healthier than it has been in a long time.

Here’s the damage from Thursday’s injury report:

NamePositionInjuryWed.Thu.Fri.Game Status
Brown, JalilDBGroinLP
Cassel, MattQBConcussionFPFP
Dorsey, GlennDECalfLPLP
Hillis, PeytonRBAnkleLPFP
Maneri, SteveTEAnkleLPLP
Wylie, DevonWRHamstringFPFP

Almost all good news here. Matt Cassel is healthy and ready to back up Brady Quinn. Devon Wylie practiced in full for the second straight day. Peyton Hillis, who has missed multiple weeks with an ankle injury, practiced fully as well and, barring any setback, should be available to assist Jamaal Charles in the KC backfield.

Maneri and Dorsey are still limited. We’ll have to keep a close eye on Dorsey when today’s report comes out. If he is limited again it could be possible he will sit once again Sunday.

Lastly, CB Jalil Brown was added to the report with a groin injury.
