The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are about to kickoff and the game day inactives have been announced.
Here’s the damage:
QB Cassel, WR Wylie, DB Hartman, RB Hillis, LB Kehl, C Mattison, DE Dorsey
No real surprises here. Wylie hasn’t played all year. Cassel has a concussion. Hillis has an apparent high ankle sprain. The linebackers are all healthy so Kehl isn’t needed. Mattinson is still learning the offense and Dorsey didn’t practice all week. Hartman isn’t needed as Kendrick Lewis is returning today.
The Chiefs will need to be careful again this week while defending the running game without Dorsey. Other than that, however, they should be able to play as normal even with these inactives.
The key, of course, is the QB position. If Quinn can play better than Matt Cassel has this season, the Chiefs should be competitive today in Tampa.
