Kevin Boss To Visit The Chiefs

After losing out on their first choice at TE in John Carlson, the Kansas City Chiefs will bring former Oakland Raiders TE Kevin Boss in for an interview tomorrow. Boss was released today at 4 p.m. by the Raiders.

Boss, in my opinion, is a much better option than Carlson. He isn’t great by any means, but the Chiefs want him as a backup/number two option to Tony Moeaki. Boss was given a -6.0 grade last season from Pro Football Focus. They had him as a below average blocker but he did get a +4.7 in the passing game. Boss was graded average most of the season until one bad game against the Chiefs in Week 16 where he got a -3.6 grade.

Boss is 28 and is a former fifth-round pick of the New York Giants.
