Forbes Magazine recently released a list of the best and worst NFL owners.
The Hunt Family came in at #7 on the worst owners list. From Forbes:
"The Worst: 7. Hunt Family – Kansas City ChiefsLamar Hunt, Chiefs founder, died in 2006.Five-Year Franchise Value: 3% increase.Five-Year Win Percentage: 36%."
While the team is technically owned by the Hunt family, we all know Clark Hunt is the chairman and CEO. He is the guy calling the shots.
You can’t really argue with the ranking here. The Chiefs may have increased in value off the field but they certainly haven’t gotten much done on it.
In short, Hunt is lining his pockets but he isn’t providing wins.
