Tony Gonzalez Signs Extension With The Falcons

Former Kansas City Chiefs TE and future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez has signed a one-year contract extension with the Atlanta Falcons, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.

I saw some Chiefs fans around the net hoping that Gonzalez might return to KC to play along Tony Moeaki for one final season at Arrowhead.

Well, he will be playing at Arrowhead next season, but he’ll be playing for the Falcons.

Gonzalez said when he was traded to Atlanta that he would like to retire a Chief so regardless of what happens next year, Gonzalex will likely sign with the Chiefs one last time before he hangs them up.

Gonzo has 79 catches for 867 yards and seven touchdowns this year. He’ll return next year for his 16th NFL season.

Congrats to Tony on his new contract and his continued success.

What do you think, Addicts? Will the Arrowhead faithful give Tony a warm welcome next season?
