Chiefs vs. Patriots: KC In Injury Trouble

facebooktwitterreddit

As if the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t suffered enough bad injury news this season, they could have a couple of more injuries that could take their chances of beating the New England Patriots tonight from slim to impossible.

The Chiefs have both of their starting CB’s Brandon Carr (ankle) and Brandon Flowers (back) listed as questionable for tonight’s game.

Can we just pause for a moment to think about what will happen if the Chiefs have to face Tom Brady and the Patriots without Carr and Flowers?

According to the team’s depth chart, which we know means pretty much nothing, Travis Daniels is next in line after Flowers and Javier Arenas would step up for an injured Carr.

Rookie Jalil Brown would likely be the nickel corner should both Arenas and Daniels be needed to move outside.

We’ll get the inactives about 90 minutes before kickoff. For the sake of the national audience, let’s hope Carr and Flowers are able to go.
