NFL Mid-Season Grades: Kansas City Chiefs Edition

The NFL season is halfway over and grades are being handed out across the blogosphere.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, the first eight games of the 2011 NFL season have been anything but dull. KC opened looking awful and fell in an early 0-3 whole. The team then stormed back to a 4-3 record and a share of first place in the AFC West. Then, just when the Chiefs thought the worst days were behind them, they turned in a horrible performance against the winless Miami Dolphins.

The Chiefs are talented but inconsistent. Exciting but prone to meltdowns. Yet despite it all, at the halfway point, they are tied for the division lead.

Can they hold on? We’ll find out over the next couple of months. For now, it’s time to grade them on their performance so far.

We want to hear from you! What grade did you give the team and more importantly, why? Did you factor in injuries? Did you include coaching and personnel moves into your evaluation? Schedule? Sound off!
