Chiefs QB Matt Cassel Nominated For Fedex Air Player Of The Week

Kansas City Chiefs QB Matt Cassel has been nominated for the Fedex Air Player of the Week award on NFL.com.

Cassel is being recognized for his outstanding play in Sunday’s come-from-behind win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Cassel threw for 257 yards and four touchdowns in the victory.

Cassel has some stiff competition in Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisburger. Big Ben threw for 228 yards and five touchdowns in a win over the Titans.

Also in the running is last year’s Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rogers, who threw for 396 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Pack to a win over the Atlanta Falcons.
