Matt Cassel, Todd Haley Argument

During the first quarter of Sunday’s game, I thought the Kansas City Chiefs offense was doomed. Matt Cassel had been playing just as poorly as he had the first two weeks of the season, the running game was sputtering and the Chiefs seemed destined to lose.

Then Matt Cassel threw the ball into the dirt, jogged to the sideline and got into an argument with coach Todd Haley.

I don’t know what exactly happened but it is pretty obvious looking back now that it needed to happen. Cassel was a different man after he came out of that locker room.

The question is, can Cassel carry that confidence and momentum into next weeks game? Or is what we saw Sunday just a good half from an inconsistent QB?
