Chiefs Add TE Kyle Nelson To Practice Squad

With TE Tony Moeaki landing on IR with an ACL injury, the Kansas City Chiefs are beefing up their depth at the position by adding Kyle Nelson to the practice squad, the team announced today.
Here is a bit from KCChiefs.com:
Nelson (6-2, 240) entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with New Orleans in 2011. He played in 50 games at New Mexico State, catching 66 passes for 559 yards with two touchdowns. He tallied 50 receptions as a senior at China Spring High School in Waco, Texas.

To make room for Nelson, the Chiefs released OT Butch Lewis.
And the dream of having a player named Butch on the team dies…
