SI.com’s Peter King is making the rounds to various training camps this summer and yesterday he made a stop in St. Joe.
King has some interesting things to say in his column, which you can read in it’s entirety here.
One thing, however, that really stood out to me, was his thoughts on second year TE Tono Moeaki.
4. The player I was most impressed with: Tight end Tony Moeaki. I’ll be writing more about him in the coming days, but what interested me is the Chiefs’ aggressive use of him in passing formations — as a slot receiver, a blocker tight to the formation, and set out wide. He’s their Dallas Clark.

Interesting comparison from King but I think it is accurate. Moeaki is an extremely talented and versicle player. He can block and he can catch and his value should only improve this season as he puts his rookie days behind him.
King says he’ll be writing more about Moeaki soon. We’ll be sure to let you know when he does.
