I’ll keep this quick and to the point. It is being reported that the Chiefs have signed star OLB Tamba Hali to a 5 year 60 million dollar contract with 35 million guaranteed.
Tamba Hali will be a Chief through 2015!!

60 million and 35 of it guaranteed is a lot from a “cheap” owner (sorry, I couldn’t resist). Bill Williamson of ESPN says that the deal makes Tamba the second highest paid OLB in the NFL behind the Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware.
Unrelated Good News: There have been reports that delays in finalizing the CBA could delay FA from being able to practice tomorrow, but Mike Freeman of CBS is reporting that the owners and players have finished the last details and as long as the player vote passes first thing in the morning then all the signed FAs (including Tamba, WOOOO!!!!) will be able to start practicing.
