Our good friend Joel Thorman of Arrowhead Pride is reporting that the Chiefs are close to reigning WR and special teams standout Terrance Copper.
To a three-year deal.
Thorman site’s Copper’s agent:
"Every once in a while, I get one right. Copper’s agent says he’ll return to the Chiefs on a three-year contract."
I was all for Copper coming back but I am not sure if the Chiefs will need him for three years. Copper is already 29 and is only really valuable on special teams. Still, ST play shouldn’t be discounted. Just ask the SD Chargers.
