In the midst of debate over the NFL lockout, the excitement over the new Kansas City Chiefs draft class, the death of Osama bin Laden and nearing finale of American Idol, we’ve all ignored a great tragedy that has been brewing right before our eyes. And now, it is too late.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are getting a divorce.

I’ll give you a moment to collect yourselves.

Seriously Lyle, get it together. (someone get the man a tissue)

Anyway, in honor of the Governator, I thought it would be fun to see which players on the Kansas City Chiefs most match up with some of the great characters played by “The Arnold” over the years.

After the jump.

Thomas Jones as Mr. Freeze from “Batman and Robin”

Thomas Jones is obviously Mr. Freeze. Mr. Freeze first appeared in the comic Batman in issue #121in February of 1959. Ironically, that was the same year Thomas Jones made his NFL debut.

Jones also has a tendency to get very cold, particularly at the end of the season. Though many Chiefs fans wish the Chiefs would sign another running back and put Jones “on ice” like any good super villain, he just keeps coming back.
