Ravens Coming To Arrowhead To Play The Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs failed to defeat the Oakland Raiders Sunday and as a result, will be the #4 seed in the NFL playoffs and will host the 12-4 Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium in the first round of the playoffs.
This has to be a bit of a letdown for those that thought the Chiefs would have a better chance of beating the New York Jets than any other AFC playoff team.
The Chiefs and Ravens will square off on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on how the NFL schedules things. We should find out sometime this evening when the game will be.
The last time the Chiefs and Ravens played was the season opener in 2009. The Chiefs were led by Brodie Croyle as Matt Cassel sat out with a knee injury.
The winner of the Chiefs, Ravens game will have the pleasure of traveling to New England to take on a dominant Patriots team. A Chiefs vs. Patriots game would certainly be a drama filled affair given all the KC and New England connections.
For now though, the Chiefs have a week to get ready for the Baltimore Ravens.
