Chiefs Injury Report
The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Tennessee Titans this weekend at Arrowhead Stadium and after a few weeks of poor injury luck, things are looking up for the Chiefs.
The team went to work today to prepare for the Titans game and thanks to Josh Looney and his Twitter account, we’ve gotten some promising updates.
According to Looney, the only players on the Wednesday injury report is Donald Washington.
That means Matt Cassel, who was limited in practice all last week following his emergency appendectomy, has been given the all clear. I figured as much after his performance against the Rams but it is nice to know that Cassel didn’t suffer any setbacks due to his play.
Looney also reports that RB Jamaal “The Best Running Back In The NFL” Charles is doing well after staying down following his 80-yard run Sunday that helped the Chiefs put the game on ice.
For the Chiefs, this injury report has to be like an early Christmas present. While it is doubtful any of the players are feeling 100% after playing in 15 NFL games, it is good that all the players are not only able, but willing, to participate fully in practice at this critical time of year.
