Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley likes to break the season up in to four quarters. He keeps track of four games at a time then wipes the slate clean when the next four come around. The thinking is that if the Chiefs can finish with a winning record in each quarter then they have a pretty good chance to make the playoffs.
So far so good.
With the loss at Indianapolis on Sunday, the Chiefs finished 3-1 in the first quarter of the season. If they can do that again three more times they will finish 12 and 4 and be well on their way to the playoffs.
Let’s take a look at the rest of the Chiefs schedule, broken up by Haley’s quarters.
