For the second time in three weeks a Kansas City Chiefs rookie has won the NFL.com Pepsi Rookie of the
Week award.
Tony Moeaki beat out fellow nominees Sam Bradford of the St. Louis Rams, tight end Aaron Hernandez of the New England Patriots, running back C.J. Spiller of the Buffalo Bills, and free safety Earl Thomas of the Seattle Seahawks.
You may remember that Chiefs rookie Dexter McCluster won this award back in Week 1 when he torched the fools wearing Chargers uniforms to the tune of 94 yards on a punt return.
While these awards are largely meaningless, it is validation of the important contribution
this rookie class is making already.
Now that Moeaki and McCluster have their hardware, I think it is time for the Chiefs rookie defenders to get in n the action.
Eric Berry, Javier Arenas, Iām looking at you. How about a couple of picks in Indianapolis?
