Tamba Hali Wins AFC Defensive Player Of The Week

The Kansas City Chiefs are starting to pile up the hardware.

In Week 1, Dexter McCluster took home both Pepsi Rookie of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

Now Tamba Hali is getting in on the action.

The Chiefs OLB and sack specialist has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Hali sacked 49ers QB Alex Smith 3 times on Sunday, giving him 3 1/2 sacks through three games.

Hali’s award may not be the last for the Chiefs this week. TE Tony Moeaki has been nominated for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week award for his performance against the 49ers. You can vote for Moeaki here.
