Prediction Time:

I think the Chiefs have a tough game in front of them. The Chargers, even though somewhat depleted, are a very talented team. I am not always going to pick the Chiefs to win (why would you bother reading my predictions if I did) but this is a Chiefs website and this is the first game of the season so how can I pick against them? We just don’t know enough about this Chiefs team for me to say they CAN’T beat the Chargers tonight.

Chiefs squeak it out behind the run game and a surprising defensive effort.
