Remember yesterday when I wrote about the Chargers losing their 3rd round draft pick to an injury?
Now the Denever Broncos are reeling.
Broncos pass rushing specialist, Elvis Dumervil has reportedly torn a pectoral muscle and is expected to be out for around 4 months. That would mean no Dumervil for Denver until late November or early December.
“Doom” had 17 sacks for the Donkey’s last year so he is a major loss.
The Chiefs play the Broncos on November 14th and December 5th so as long as Dumervil heals quickly, he could be back in time for second contest between the division rivals.
As I said yesterday, keep knocking on wood, kissing your rabbits foot or doing what ever it is you have been doing this past week that has been helping to keep the Chiefs players injury free. I for one have been wearing the same boxers since camp opened.
