Football In Pads Is Coming

I was thinking ahead to this coming week of work and I started feeling down. My weekend wasn’t particularity  exciting and now I have to go back to the daily grind.

Then something occurred  to me.

Football starts this week!

That’s right Addicts. On Thursday the Chiefs will report to St. Joes to officially begin their season. There will be a number of interesting position battles.

Rudy Niswanger and Casey Weigmann will square off for the starting center spot.

The MLB position will be an all out war between Derrick Johnson, Jovan Belcher, Corey Mays and Demorrio Williams.

I also have a feeling Travis Daniels is going to put some heat on Javier Arenas for a shot to be the team’s primary nickel corner.

The competition should be interesting and it will make the preseason games all the more meaningful. Every snap counts!
