Rick Gosselin, of the Dallas Morning News is one of the most respected sports writers in America. He is not only respected by the folks that read his work but also by the people he covers in the NFL. Mr. Gosselin, or “Goose” as he is refereed to by Bob Gretz, also puts together a yearly list of special teams rankings that according to Mr. Gretz are the “gold standard around the NFL for evaluating each team’s units.”

That is why, among the hundreds of draft grade articles that will be released over the coming days, Gosselin’s will stand out.

And Goose gave the Chiefs the highest grade possible and his only A+.

Here is what Goose had to say:

"The Chiefs drafted the NFL defensive rookie of the year in Berry – and a slew of other good players. Arenas was the best returner in the draft, and McCluster will give the AFC matchup problems at both running back and receiver."
