Adam Schefter is reporting that the Chiefs and Ravens are dueling it out for the services of Anquan Boldin!

"Adam_SchefterArizona is closing in on a long-anticipated deal to trade Pro Bowl wide receiver Anquan Boldin. Leading contender: Baltimore. KC also in."

Come on Scott, make this happen.

Word on the street is that the Cards will accept a 3rd round pick for Boldin. The Chiefs obviously can offer a much higher pick in the 3rd round than the Ravens. I am not sure why the Ravens are the frontrunner. The only thing I can think of is that they may be offering their 2nd round pick.

I firmly believe the Chiefs need to make this move, especially with the uncertainty in regards to Chris Chambers.

Pro Football Talk says the Patriots are also in the mix. With all these teams I fear a 2nd round pick may be involved.I don’t know if the Chiefs will go that high.

"The Arizona Cardinals have multiple trade offers for wide receiver Anquan Boldin and are close to determining which one they’ll accept.PFT has heard that the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots are all interested in acquiring Boldin from the Cardinals.Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Cardinals have spent much of Friday weighing their offers and determining which one to take. Schefter says that right now, the Ravens are the leading contenders.Although it was reported this week that the Cardinals wanted a third-round draft pick for Boldin, it’s possible that the presence of multiple bidders for his services has upped the price."

Update:Pats out of the running?

From NFP:

"Although initially regarded by league sources as the frontrunner to land Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver Anquan Boldin via a trade, the New England Patriots are dropping out of the sweepstakes.According to an NFL source with knowledge of the situation, the Patriots have decided to pass after originally pursuing it hard enough that they were considered the leader. And that leaves the Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs as the two teams going after Boldin with both teams in dire need of upgrades to their wide receiver corps."

Word out there now is that it is between the Ravens and Chiefs. The Chiefs have offered a 3rd round pick. If the Ravens give up a 2nd, they get Boldin, if not, he is a Chief.

SI.com’s Peter King says the Ravens are close to a deal. Stay tuned.
