Restricted Free Agent Roundup
Here is a recap of all the moves the Chiefs made on their restricted free agents yesterday. New additions are tenders for Brodie Croyle and Corey Mays. Not receiving tenders were Jackie Battle and Andy Alleman.
To cut down on posts as info comes out we will keep updating this threat so refresh your page. Also , keep an eye on our Twitter feed.
Here you go:
QB Brodie Croyle: 2nd round tender.
Arrowhead Pride is reporting that Croyle appeared on a radio show and said he will be back in KC next season.
LB Derrick Johnson:1st round tender.
D.J. made $2.25 million so per NFL rules the Chiefs must pay him 110% of that amount. If no one signs him to an offer sheet it looks like the Chiefs plan to start him.
LB Corey Mays:2nd round tender.
OL Ikechuku Ndukwe:2nd round tender.
OL Rudy Niswanger:2nd round tender.
From BobGretz.com:
"Also, the Chiefs have given starting center Rudy Niswanger, starting RT Ryan O’Callaghan and backup tackle Ikechuku Ndukwe tender offers with a second-round draft choice as the compensation. For four-year veterans Niswanger and O’Callaghan, that’s one-year deals for $1,759,000 and for three-year player Ndukwe that’s a tender worth $1,684,000."
OL Ryan O’Callaghan:2nd round tender.
Adam Teicher of the KC Star is reporting that RT Ryan O’Callahan has been offered a 2nd round tender.
"Starting right offensive tackle Ryan O’Callaghan was offered a one-year contract worth $1.759 million. O’Callaghan will also be eligible to negotiate with other clubs starting tonight. If he signs an offer, the Chiefs can either match or receive that team’s second-round draft pick."
S Jarrad Page: 2nd round tender.
KC Star’s Red Zoe Blog is reporting that Chiefs Safety Jarred Page received a 2nd round tender.
OL-Andy Alleman-No tender.
RB Jackie Battle- No tender.
This one upsets me. As you probably know, I am a big Battle fan.
