Meet Your New KR/PR Trindon Holliday (Hopefully)
By author
LSU Return Specialist Trindon Holliday should be on the Chiefs’ radar. Holliday was one of the fastest players in college football last season, and said he would like to run a 4.24 in the 40-yard dash this week, the same time Tennessee’s Chris Johnson ran a couple of years ago. As further proof of his speed, he was also the 2009 NCAA 100 meter outdoor champion.
Trindon is the only player invited to the combine as a return specialist, and he will stay and workout with the wide receiver group later this week after he catches punts and kicks with the specialist group. At 5-foot-5, 162 pounds, Holliday is tiny. But he’s a stout 5’5 guy who provides more power than his frame would lead you to believe. He played running back in college, but says he can play receiver at the next level. Since KC desperately needs a returner, he should be on our radar. He could be our next Dante Hall. Projected to go in the 5th to 6th round. Plus he is from LSU (done deal).

UPDATE* After posting this I went to the Chiefs’ website and they have a video and interview with him. Go figure.
