Don’t Count On Boldin

Arizona Beat writer Kent Somers expects the Cardinals to be “earnest in their efforts to trade” Anquan Boldin this offseason. “Their best offer last year was reportedly a third-round pick and another player, and Somers suspects that offer might be enough to do the trick this time around. Boldin, 29, has been injury prone as he enters the final year of his contract. The Cardinals are 6-2 without him over the past two years, and they’re confident in Steve Breaston and Early Doucet replacing his production.”
Before everyone goes Boldin crazy, please remember that the year the Cardinals went to the Superbowl with Haley calling the plays, Boldin was in the Haley/Wisenhunt proverbial dog house and was almost phased out of the offense heading into the Superbowl. The point being, I doubt the Chiefs and Haley make a play.
