If you love playing as the Chiefs on Madden like I do, then you were very disappointed when last years ratings for Chiefs layers came out. The Chiefs had a few decent layers including Larry Johnson, Brian Waters, Matt Cassel, Bowe and well…those guys.
Through most of the season, roster update after roster update, the Chiefs stayed about the same. Some players moved up a little and down a little. The addition of Chris Chambers was helpful but that was about it. However, in what will likely be the final rating for Chiefs players this go round, the Madden team took note of some of KC’s top performers and rewarded them. Some players took some hits as well but nothing too major.

Not too shabby. I wish we weren’t seeing drops in players like Albert, Bowe, Cassel and Waters but they can recover. I was doing well with Charles as a 76. I can’t wait to play him at 86! By the middle of next year he should be in the 90’s. Flowers going to an 85 is also a great sign.
I know none of this is real but it is an honest reflection of how other, impartial folks view our favorite team. The fact that the Chiefs have quite a few budding starts should be encouraging. There are more pieces in place on this team than it might see like on Sunday. The Chiefs have earned a little respect and that is a good thing.
