Chiefs Fire Offensive Line Coach Joe D’Alessandris
Somehow this bit of information seemed to slip under the radar yesterday but Bob Gretz is reporting this morning that Chiefs Offensive Line Coach Joe D’Alessandris will not be back next season.
"D’Alessandris was seen being walked out of the club’s offices on Tuesday morning, carrying boxes and escorted by security personnel."
You know the news isn’t good when a guy is seen leaving his office with boxes and a security guard. While the Chiefs have made no formal announcements on either defensive line coach Tim Krumrie or D’Alessandris but the information we’ve received sees pretty solid.
D’Alessandris’ firing coes as no surprise. The Chiefs offensive line was terrible all year, allowing QB Matt Cassel to be sacked 45 times.
Keep it locked in here to AA. I have a hunch there will be a coaching hire for the Chiefs by the end of this week or beginning of next week, at the latest.
