McGavock Auto Group has signed Patrick Mahomes to sponsor their products and appear at their dealerships.
Patrick Mahomes is learning how to use his high draft leverage and franchise quarterback-in-the-making stature to his advantage. Most recently the Kansas City Chiefs rookie has signed up to be a sponsor for the McGavock Auto Group, a series of auto dealerships in West Texas as well as Wichita, Kansas. That’s a perfect link for a player who played at Texas Tech who now suits up for the Chiefs.
"“McGavock is extremely proud to have Patrick join our team,” said Brent McGavock. “Patrick is a young, exciting athlete, and we hope this partnership begins a great relationship throughout his NFL career and beyond.”"
For those in those regions in Wichita or West Texas, Mahomes will reportedly be making appearances at the dealerships, so you might want to go out and take a test drive and get a photo opp in the process. Mahomes will also reportedly appear in various commercials for McGavock and include various social media exercises that document his rookie season while also tying things to the auto group.
For our part, we’re just most interested in the cheesy slogans that could derive from this opportunity. Some suggestions to McGavock:
“If you thought Mahomes looked good versus the Patriots, you should him Versa the Patriots.”
“Introducing a rookie that was heaven Sentra.”
“You don’t want a Leaf for a quarterback, but you do want one to drive.”
We’re apologize in advance for this silliness. (But if McGavock wants to use any of these, we only ask for a free car. And a Patrick Mahomes autograph.)
