Safety Eric Berry made the play of the game against the Carolina Panthers with his interception return for a touchdown. He played tenaciously in the intermediate depth of the field as well as at the line of scrimmage. His leadership is unquestioned on this Chiefs squad. With his performance Sunday, the discussion has turned to Berry’s future. Berry is playing under the Franchise tag currently and his on-field play is making it harder to see the team let him leave after this season.
With his performance Sunday, the discussion has turned to Berry’s future. Berry is playing under the Franchise tag currently and his on-field play is making it harder to see the team let him leave after this season.
