Several cuts from yesterday should be registering on the Chiefs radar as we head in to the final week of the preseason. Paul Kruger is expected to make a visit to the Chiefs if he does not reach an agreement in New Orleans. Kruger could provide good depth on a defense that needs help at OLB. Kansas City desperately needs to find someone to help get after the QB. The key will be getting Kruger into the Chiefs facility.

Solidifying Offense

Geoff Schwartz could easily step in and provide great depth on the offensive line as one of the top 6 lineman on the team. Schwartz would give you the ability to sit Ehinger if he struggles early in the season and still have a guy on the bench that could play at guard or center.

Chris Conley has separated himself from the rest of the wide receiver corps. He is clearly Jeremey Maclin’s running mate at the outside “X” receiver. The log jam behind that pair is could be shifting. Albert Wilson looks like he’s taking a step backward as the preseason goes on. Still running with the first team, his performance has been unimpressive. He has Rod Streater and Tyreek Hill breathing down his neck for playing time. DeMarcus Robinson’s progress has stalled, but he appears to be the 6th receiver who will make this roster.
