Whew, this Sunday of football has been insane. The Kansas City Chiefs have to be thrilled with the way things have gone so far.
The San Diego Chargers got absolutely hammered by the Minnesota Vikings, giving up all kinds of rushing yards to Adrian Peterson. Frankly, San Diego has looked mediocre at best for much of the season thus far, barely eking out a single win. Meanwhile, the New York Jets lost to the Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens fell to 0-3 in a last-minute loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Chiefs will play an undefeated team for the fourth consecutive week when they travel to the Queen City.
Also, there was a major injury sustained by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was injured in the third quarter when safety Mark Barron hit into his left leg, putting him out for the contest. Roethlisberger was down in obvious pain before being helped to the bench, then carted to the locker room. Adam Schefter has reported that Roethlisberger will be out for at least four weeks, and is still pending an MRI that will take place either Sunday night or Monday.
For the rest of the night, feel free to hang out in the Arrowhead Addict lounge and watch the Detroit Lions smack the Denver Broncos around.
