Broncos at Chiefs: How to watch

There will be over 80,000 screaming maniacs at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos. Both teams are 1-0, and this will put the winner in the AFC West lead. Of course, the Chiefs are going to be amped through the roof with this contest.

This is not only the home opener, but Eric Berry will be coming out of the tunnel for the first time since being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Then there is Derrick Johnson trying to set the franchise record for tackles, currently held by Gary Spani. Factor in that the game is on national television, and you have all the ingredients for an incredible night.

Here is how to watch the proceedings from your couch:

TV: CBS/NFL Network
Time: 7:25 p.m. CST
Radio: 101 The Fox
Online: NFL.com
Mobile: Verizon mobile
Odds: KC (-3)

If you decide to watch the game online, just be aware that NFL.com is going to toggle from live game action to studio analysis. It can drive a normal man to the brink of insanity, so good luck. After the game is over, you only have to wait a few hours and then turn on the full or condensed version on NFL Game Pass. You do need the subscription for $99.99, but it is a great package. It also gives you the Apple TV app along with some other cool features.

I look forward to reading about the ratings on Friday. It stands to reason that people in Kansas City are going to be glued to the game, so the share within the city should be through the roof. I’ll be doing my part in Chicago, watching the contest from my apartment with every door locked. I can’t be risking people wanting to come over and hang out. I’m not built for that during a Chiefs game.
