The Kansas City Chiefs only announced one injury after their 34-10 win over the Tennessee Titans on Friday night at Arrowhead Stadium. However, there is another one to add to the list, per Chiefs reporter BJ Kissel.

It is uncertain when West sustained the concussion. West played really well for the third straight preseason game, likely cementing his spot as one of the two reserve running backs behind Jamaal Charles. West ran for 47 yards on nine carries and scored on a two-point conversion run. Knile Davis is listed as the second running back, although West is going to get some opportunities. West has been terrific on the ground and really looked good on passing downs both catching and blocking.

The good news for West is that he has two full weeks to get ready. Kansas City does not play its regular-season opener until Sept. 13 when it travels to take on the Houston Texans.

When genera manager John Dorsey released Cyrus Gray on the eve of training camp, eyes were opened. Head coach Andy Reid then called the move a football decision, showing confidence in West, the second-year man out of Abilene Christian.
