On Saturday night, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Arizona Cardinals, 34-19. On Saturday night, Eric Berry officially returned from a bout with cancer, one that Berry emerged from victorious. You can imagine which win is more important both now and forever.
Berry’s return to the NFL was made official on Saturday, when he saw action against the Cardinals with both the first and second-string defenses. While he did not record a statistic Berry was around a few tackles and generally looked like himself. It was a beautiful thing to see No. 29 running around, doing what he loves to do. It certainly brought out raw emotion, something Berry and his wonderful mother shared before the contest began.
