ESPN Analyst Antonio Pierce Picks Kansas City Chiefs To Make Super Bowl

At least one person has faith in the Kansas City Chiefs this season.

Former NFL linebacker now turned ESPN analyst Antonio Pierce selected the Chiefs to win the AFC Championship and advance to the Super Bowl. That’s where his optimism runs out, however, as he has the Seattle Seahawks repeating as champions.

Pierce’s pick seems to go against the grain of most people thinking the Chiefs will be the team most likely to miss the playoff this season after making it last season. The problem with taking the Chiefs out means you have to put somebody in and the AFC does not look like it is going to be a very good conference in 2014.

Jeffri Chadiha and Kevin Seifert were the only other ESPN analysts to even put the Chiefs in the playoffs, both of them giving the Chiefs a wild card nod. Everyone else had the Chiefs missing the playoff entirely.

It should also be noted few saw the Denver Broncos winning the Super Bowl this season if they even made it. Many seem to be high on either New England or Indianapolis making a run to the Super Bowl, but most see an NFC team eventually winning the title.
