I wasn’t born in Kansas City. I didn’t even grow up there. Hell, I’ve only ever been to Kansas City once.
But I am a Chiefs fan through and through.
I grew up in Ohio and have been a Chiefs fan since grade school. Later, I went to college near Pittsburgh before eventually landing in NYC. I’ve had to find creative ways to watch the Chiefs play my entire life.
That is why, a few years ago, we here at Arrowhead Addict created our Chiefs Bars page. The bars page is a massive directory of Chiefs-friendly bars around the country. There are all sorts of places on there. Some bars just feature a small, core group of Chiefs fans that congregate each season while other joints are some of the biggest Chiefs bars in the country outside of Missouri.
We have listings in roughly 30 states so far and we are always taking tips to help expand our directory. Our goal is to spread the Chiefs Kingdom far and wide and connect displaced Chiefs fans all over the globe.
If you know of a Chiefs-friendly bar near where you live, please let us know. We like our listings to be as solid and as up to date as possible. Should you go to a bar in our listings and find that Chiefs fans are no longer congregating there, please drop us a line so we can remove it.
In our experience, dedication is key. The more Chiefs fans that show up at a place each Sunday, the more power the group has. From drink specials to the game being played with the broadcast audio, it is important that the members show up in force every week and even during the worst of seasons. Don’t be a fair-weather Chiefs fan. Defend your turf.
