Chiefs Single Game Tickets Go On Sale July 12

The Kansas City Chiefs are coming to an Arrowhead Stadium near you.

Soon.

Sort of.

The team announced that single game tickets will be going on sale on July 12.

From the Chiefs:

Single-game tickets for all 2013 Kansas City Chiefs home games go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 12 at 9 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 745-3000, in person at any of the Ticketmaster outlets listed below (hours vary by outlet), or at the Arrowhead Stadium Ticket Office located between the Founder’s Plaza and the Hy-Vee Gate on the northwest side of the stadium from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday and Saturdays before home games from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tickets for Chiefs home games start at just $30 and are subject to availability. Buyers may use cash or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). No checks will be accepted.

Chiefs fans can purchase tickets now through full season ticket packages, a Pick-5 plan, Divisional
3-Pack or 2-Pack.

Fans that choose to purchase a season ticket package will be able to utilize the full benefits of the Chiefs Kingdom Pass and www.chiefskingdompass.com. This personalized website, launched earlier this year, is designed to deliver exclusive content, ticket management and the ability to earn points that can be redeemed for an opportunity to win unique auction items and experiences.

The Pick-5 plan lets fans choose any four regular season games and match them with a preseason contest of their choice. The Divisional 3-Pack ensures tickets to the three home games against AFC West opponents in 2013 and the 2-Pack option provides tickets to games from two preselected groups of regular season opponents.

In continuation of the team’s long-standing policy, the taxpayers of Jackson County, Mo., will receive first priority to purchase single-game tickets for the 2013 season on Wednesday, July 10 at 9 a.m. through Thursday, July 11. Jackson County taxpayers purchasing tickets must have one form of identification that includes a photo of the purchaser and a personal 2012 Jackson County, Mo., property tax receipt.

Chiefs Season Ticket Holders also receive the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets before they go on sale to the general public. The pre-sale event for Chiefs Season Ticket Holders will begin on Wednesday, July 10 at Noon. The club will notify Season Ticket Holders via email with instructions on how to participate.

Fans interested in purchasing season tickets, group tickets or partial plans can call (888) 99-CHIEFS (24433) or visit kcchiefs.com.

The Chiefs have a pretty awesome slate of games this season. Along with the usual AFC West games (you gotta show up to boo Peyton Manning) the Cowboys, Texans, Giants, Browns and Colts are all coming to town. In the preseason, though the football is usually rubbish, you can see QB Alex Smith take on his former team in the San Francisco 49ers. GM John Dorsey’s former team, the Green Bay Packers, will also be coming to town.

What say you, Addicts? Which 2013 home game are you most excited to see?

Some single game tickets were already made available through the Chiefs’ fundraiser program with area businesses. I had an opportunity to pick up tickets to either the Texans, Browns, or Chargers games. Too bad I was broke at the time. $35 a ticket (for lower level seating) is a STEAL!

Wow I would have bought a bunch at that price.

The one I really want to see is the one that clinches that playoff spot.
