The Kansas City Chiefs came into Week 4 having "gotten right" against the Chicago Bears in Week 3 in a lopsided game that allowed K.C. to sort out some early season offensive frustrations while continuing their unexpected defensive dominance. Early in their road game against the New York Jets, they're still enjoying that same momentum on both sides of the ball.

The Chiefs took an early 10-0 lead at MetLife Stadium on a muscular touchdown run that featured lead running back Isiah Pacheco taking one all the way to the house from midfield—good for a 48-yard score. What allowed him to break one wide open like that was a very impressive block from Trey Smith after pulling to the left side and getting into the second level.

A closer look at Smith's effort:

What makes this such a standout effort is that the Chiefs are largely known for being the sexy offensive engine–a luxury sportscar, if you will. But on this play, they show that they're quite capable of out-muscling their opponent, and a physical one at that in the New York Jets. No one doubts the Jets' tenacity, talent, and toughness up front and yet the Chiefs just absolutely bowled them over for most of their first two drives.

it's always fun to watch the heroics of Patrick Mahomes, but this reminds us just how fun it is to see an effective ground game complementing it all.
