OT. Broderick Jones. 44. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 8. player. Georgia

The Falcons spent a lot of money to acquire some big-time defensive players and they drafted a receiver early last season. One area that needs to be addressed is their offensive line. At pick 8, the Falcons find themselves in a position to take the top tackle. With the Falcons insinuating that Desmond Ridder is the quarterback of the future, Broderick Jones is well worth a top-ten pick. While he has a limited number of starts under his belt, Jones is uniquely gifted. With great strength and athleticism, it would not be shocking if he was one day regarded as one of the best in the NFL. A measured risk for sure, but one that the Falcons would be wise to take.

9. player. 57. Pick Analysis. CB. Christian Gonzalez. Scouting Report. Oregon

(From Carolina)

The Bears find themselves in a great position. After adding some defensive talent and some offensive weapons, they find themselves in a great place to select the top defensive back in the draft class. Christian Gonzalez came on strong at Oregon coming up with four picks last season, but the thing that is most appealing about him is his tremendous closing speed and length. With similar attributes to that of Sauce Gardner, the Bears will have selected their new top cornerback.

Pick Analysis. RB. Bijan Robinson. 10. 54. Scouting Report. Texas. player

(From New Orleans)

With the departure of Miles Sanders, the Philadelphia Eagles draft Bijan Robinson to take the reins in a rush-heavy offense. While many project Robinson to be one of the best overall players in the draft, his value drops due to his position. Robinson might just take the Eagles to even higher heights with his tremendous power and agility. With a run to the Super Bowl now under their belt, the Eagles may feel like they can make a luxury pick and Robinson might just help them fulfill their goals.

Pick Analysis. EDGE. Clemson. Myles Murphy. 11. player. Scouting Report. 50

(From Tennessee in projected trade)

The Lions have done a really nice job of improving their roster this offseason. With an already talented group of young players, Detroit is in a position to draft yet another very talented pass-rusher. In this case, Myles Murphy is still somehow available at pick 11. Murphy is a talented and versatile piece on defense. With defense being the reason that they lost several games last season, Murphy single-handedly remedies a void on Detroit’s roster.
